Coverage & Costs
Will my monthly rate ever increase? +
Never. Asurgo specializes in "Whole Life" policies. This means once your policy is active, your premium is locked in for the rest of your life. It will never go up due to age or changes in your health.
Does the coverage amount decrease as I get older? +
No. Your death benefit (the money paid to your family) is guaranteed never to decrease, as long as premiums are paid.
How much coverage can I get? +
Most final expense plans range from $2,000 up to $50,000. You can choose the exact amount that fits your budget and needs (e.g., covering funeral costs, medical bills, or leaving a small legacy).
Eligibility & Health
Do I have to take a medical exam? +
No. None of the carriers we work with require a physical exam, blood work, or urine samples. You will simply answer a few health questions over the phone.
What if I have pre-existing conditions? +
We can usually help! Because we work with over 15 carriers, we have access to plans specifically designed for people with conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and even more serious history. We shop around to find the carrier that accepts your specific health profile.
Is there an age limit? +
We generally help individuals between the ages of 50 and 85. If you fall slightly outside this range, give us a call, as some carriers have exceptions.
